so ok never has anyone ever showed me beauty tips etc..just want to spruce my self up to be more of a lady..any way i am just curious to know how expensive does one pay to have your nails done professionally at a salon etc vs the store bought kits of fake nails?? really need to know.?Question to the gals.how expensive is it to have your nail's done proffesionally verses store bought nail kits?
It really depends on the service you get. For instance, if you need acryllic nails put on, it will be a little more expensive than if you just get them to file and paint your own nails. For acryllics you can expect to pay about 20-25 dollars for the initial visit. (once this is done you need to go back every 2 weeks for what is called a fill-in, and that is typically 10-15 bucks.) For pedicures, you can expect to pay about the same. I always tip the nail techs at least 5 dollars for the service.
Oh! and if you want to get realllly girly, you can have them do some nail art on your big toes... they make lovely designs and use little gemstones. This is about 5 bucks more.
Hope this helped! Question to the gals.how expensive is it to have your nail's done proffesionally verses store bought nail kits?
Having your nails done in a salon can vary.
acrylic nails-full set normally cost around 拢20-拢25.
after about 4-6 weeks you need to go for infills which cost around 拢10-拢15.
Acrylic nails done in a salon are so much better then kits.
they stay on perfectly, don't move or ping off, they don't even snap.
on the other hand, the kits are hard to put on, hard to remove, the excess glue ruins your nails and is hard to get off. they can also be painful when removing. they don't stay on for long, snap easily and ping off VERY easily.
i get my nails infilled in a salon every 6 weeks to keep them looking lovely. i fully encourage you to get them done in a salon.
i hope i've helped.x
I depends on where you are. Here in the North East, a full set will cost $50-$60 not counting the tip for the tech. Kit's can go for as little as $10 but won't give you much product. Also, you have to learn to apply and shape the nails yourself; 3 to 4 hours vs a tech 45 minutes. Also take into consideration the quality of the job (not in mall salons) and that the started kit's don't always include a brush, a good brush is another $20 minimum. A good Salon is worth it.
Well, it depends where you go. Getting your nails done at the store can cost anywhere from $20-30 for a mani, but if you want acrylic nails, it usually costs $30-40.
Store bought kits cost around $10, but are really hard to put on/ keep on.
on average $20 for a manicure.
6-10$ dollars for nails and glue at the drugstore.
You're far better off getting them professionally done.
